Scranton Masonry Repair is a locally owned masonry contractor serving Scranton and all of Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. We repoint brick, rebuild chimneys, replace rusted lintels, restore stone, and rebuild steps and porches. Most of what we touch is old, because that is what the brick and stone in this part of Pennsylvania is.

Scranton grew up on anthracite, and it grew in brick. The blocks near downtown, the Hill Section, and Green Ridge are full of houses raised before 1940, and that brick is soft and set in lime mortar. It does not take a hard portland joint the way a modern wall does. We match the mortar to the wall, sand and color included, so the repair moves with the brick instead of cracking it.

We are licensed and insured for work in Pennsylvania. We write every job down before we start. We tell you when the stack below your roofline is still sound and only the brick above it needs rebuilding.
